AFS is proud to launch scholarship applications for teachers and students to attend the 2019 AFS Global Conference on Active Global Citizenship—and How to Educate for It (9-11 October in Montreal, Canada).

AFS Global Conference interactive and ideas-driven sessions facilitated by leading university professors, K-12 experts and non-formal educators will explore integrating global competence education into school curricula, student-driven study abroad programs, how to mentor the next generation of global citizens and more.

Teachers and students play a critical role in these discussions, as they are the ones who will tackle the greatest global challenges and the ones most directly affected by our education systems, policies, and practices.
